Suku Phull is Chartered Engineer and has worked for the Department for Transport since 1991 as a technical specialist. His work activities span across a wide range of technical policy and research areas in traffic management and Intelligent Transport Systems. His extensive experience and knowledge is well known in the UK public/private sector and internationally. Mr Phull has a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and MSc in Microelectronics. He has been an author/co-author on numerous technical publications and has presented at various conferences and professional meetings nationally and internationally. He previously worked in the private sector as a chief design engineer, developing electronics based products.
Other than work activities, Mr Phull enjoys charity work- he set up his own charity in the UK over ten years ago (www.ekomcharity.co.uk), which fully funds free medical care for the less privileged in developing countries such as India and Africa. The charities main mission is to give people quality of life through restoring their vision and providing mobility through distribution of free prosthetic limbs.

Jill is a technical leader with over 20 years' experience in intelligent transport systems, specialising in R&D, evaluation and strategy. She has published and presented over 50 papers and articles, and advised government and private clients in the UK, EU and US.
Jill is a recognised expert in connected and automated vehicles. She has supported Highways England, DfT and others with research and strategy and recently led connected vehicle data strategy research for DfT.
Jill is also a national expert in strategic road network management systems, in particular smart motorways and ramp metering, and has led studies into future concept developments.
