Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV)
Michael Talbot is Deputy Head of the UK Government’s Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV) of which he was a founding member in 2015. He returned to CCAV after a two-year industrial secondment as Head of Strategy to Zenzic, as part of CAM Testbed UK, delivering a policy he designed. Prior to CCAV, Michael was Head of Horizon Scanning in the UK Government's Horizon Scanning Programme, leading on the Eight Great Technologies, setting up a cross-Whitehall emerging technologies community of interest (including self-driving vehicles).
Michael holds Masters’ degrees from the Universities of Toronto and Oxford.
